Wow, 1st, they don 't take cash... ok, I get that... so I put the two $24 drinks on my card. Decided I would leave a cash tip, only to be told by the bartender, before I left the tip, you know it 's classless to not leave a tip. Give me a chance to put my money down j I will not return and if I had realized you were such a j bartender, I would have left you a penny!! Overpriced and over the top rudeness.
I have been coming to Dirty Goose for a few years now. As a queer black woman, The Goose has been a safe haven for me. I feel super comfortable being in in this establishment. From the security to bartenders, I always feel so welcomed. For example, Dashon (sp) is always smiling and making sure I’m good. You can’t find that anywhere else in DC. Love him and love The Dirty Goose!!
I was visiting DC and looking for LGBTQ-friendly spots to check out. After a terrible experience at a sports bar nearby, I decided to visit this place. They don't serve food, but the bartender Jimmy was fantastic! The service and atmosphere were both friendly. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be stopping by again when I visit DC in the future.
If you are a person of color or prefer rail drinks, avoid this restaurant at all costs because they do not care. The manager is just as bad as the bartenders. Réservez une table maintenant
