The Dog Partridge Great Moor

I recently hosted my late uncle's funeral reception at the Dog Partridge, and I could not have asked for a better venue or service. Karen and her team were exceptional in providing attentive and welcoming service. Karen offered a wide selection of dishes for the buffet, both hot and cold, all beautifully presented with ample plates, cutlery, and napkins. We had the private use of a cozy room at the back of the pub, complete with a warm log burning stove. Karen even added little bouquets of fresh flowers to each table, a thoughtful touch. Christmas set menu , we had starters which were ok and then a Christmas dinner as the main, unfortunately it was frozen food that had been cooked in the oven,£21 for 2 courses I'd have expected the roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings to be home made. Drinks are expensive, over £5 for a pint of bierre moretti, no shots available which on a night that's clearly full of people of Christmas do's was disappointing. Entertainment was good ..a guy called Steve leach. Toilets and the pub as a whole were clean with plenty of seats.

Great service by Helen really know how’s to handle a difficult situation 5/5 for customer service. Be sure to be back knows how to keep a customer satisfied and want to come back for more.

My wife I came for the gig, The.Blind Truth, Excellent, As was the pub , Beer was on form, Staff are Busy Polite, Pub is VERY CLEAN,

Food was amazing, kids loved it. Sarah was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. Will be back next week.
