This was the first time I had been back to the Drapers in years and was pleasantly surprised. We sat outside as it was a nice day in their seated garden area. It was well laid out and there was a shaded area to get out of the sun if you wanted to. I ordered the cod and chips and it was pretty good. The chips were really good, the fish was a touch oily but nothing too serious. The best thing is you get a drink within the price of your food which I didn't know at first! But that really adds to the already reasonable prices of the food. I would definitely go back as the staff seemed really nice too. Cleared our plates really quickly and were friendly and professional. Couldn't ask for more really.
Great place, friendly staff, good atmosphere, food good service very good, toilets bit of a trek but that is Weatherspoons... Disabled toilets need a bit more attention please.. Perhaps hourly inspection.... Also outside smoking is no where except at the entrance so as there is two outside areas at the rear of the Pub perhaps the top area could be for smoking... Just saying
Absolutely Loved it here, large garden terrace and balcony,prices great and food..at far the best staff ever! Micky was just amazing for us and made the experience even better. Other bars were also very accommodating. We were a family group from London. will definitely be back at our next visit
