Lovely pub, and friendly staff most of the time, unfortunately during our most recent trip we where told to “shut up” and “f**k off” by a young lady behind the bar. Seems like if you are not a regular (or a middle aged white man) at this pub, you do not get treated with respect by some staff members. This issue was raised with the manager but we where made to feel like our complaint wasn’t taken seriously, and not respected resulting in the manger telling us to leave, and didn’t believe our genuine complaint, refusing to take it up with said member of staff. Great selection of beers which they will give you a taster if you haven't tried them, the customers were interesting and easygoing and great to talk to. Staff were excellent and new their stuff. And the bus stops right outside.

Great pub serving great selection of beer. No music or games machines to ruin the friendly atmosphere. People enjoying slurping proper beer having a chat, simple but very relaxing.
