It's the best beer bar in Doncaster... and beyond! Situated on Platform 3B of Doncaster station you will find a small cozy bar with a rotating selection of 7 keg and 3 cask beers, plus an excellent can and bottle selection. The beers are all top quality and often feature rare offerings from Europe and the US you wouldn't usually be able to get hold of. The staff are exceptional and provide a warm welcome. the Thompson crew cannot praise enough. I have worked in frontline customer service for 26yrs and these youngs not only tickle each box they need to tickle more boxes as they are that amazing what they do. the passion to take the place as a dish to what it is now and how they run the place is something to admire. to welcome so many people, they will only see once as if they know them for years, the proves they roll. Finally, massive thanks to their support for local breweries like us. send massive beer love to ya all

the draughtsman is a fabulous little jewel found on the train station doncaster . a warm welcome and a fabulous selection of crafty ales, tasty gins and other alcoholic drinks or a good cuppa if that is her tipper. friendly, attentive staff is just a really nice place to be! Amazing. This bar at the railway station is superior to most traditional pubs. The service is excellent and they offer an incredible variety of beers. The average cost per person is between £1 and £10. Service and atmosphere both receive a rating of 5 out of 5.

We had some time to kill before catching our trains home and decided to stop by this lovely pub for a delicious beer. We were so impressed that we are already planning to come back and try more options on our next visit.

I highly recommend trying the fantastic American import dipa at this train station bar! The price per person is reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10. Craft beer is definitely a must-try dish here.
