The Draughtsman Alehouse

the Thompson crew cannot praise enough. I have worked in frontline customer service for 26yrs and these youngs not only tickle each box they need to tickle more boxes as they are that amazing what they do. the passion to take the place as a dish to what it is now and how they run the place is something to admire. to welcome so many people, they will only see once as if they know them for years, the proves they roll. Finally, massive thanks to their support for local breweries like us. send massive beer love to ya all

Found this absolute gem on Platform 3b at Doncaster Station at 8pm last night after a snowy and very cold day in London. Was simply trying to find somewhere more comfortable than the waiting room next door which was standing room only and freezing because the automatic doors were constantly opening and closing. It really is a gem of a place warm, cosy a great choice of drinks available! A lad and his dad run it they deserve to do well. Loved it and will certainly be back!

the draughtsman is a fabulous little jewel found on the train station doncaster . a warm welcome and a fabulous selection of crafty ales, tasty gins and other alcoholic drinks or a good cuppa if that is her tipper. friendly, attentive staff is just a really nice place to be! I personally found the elvis juice grapefruit bier amazing!

many thanks to the fabulous draughtsman alehouse for my abandoning work drinks party. love this place. it has a fantastic atmosphere, brilliant choice of fine ales, weine, spirituosen and coffee, and the service and knowing the staff are two to none. everyone enjoyed the night thoroughly and highly recommended the draughtsman.

first visit, 15 minutes between trains. good feeling for small bar rooms, with wooden floors. had a pint of cask milk stout and a pork cake. both delicious, but then I had to crash!
