We stumbled upon this restaurant while passing by on a side street and decided to give it a try. The outdoor menu looked good, and we were pleasantly surprised to find another menu featuring faggots from a local butcher. We both ordered the faggots and were impressed with the generous portions of mash and peas topped with delicious gravy. My husband enjoyed the surf and turf as well. The staff was friendly, and we felt welcomed by the locals. In addition, we were impressed by the luxurious marble decor in the ladies' restroom. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We visited a friendly local pub on a Wednesday evening for Steak night. I had the Rump Steak with all the trimmings, which was a beautiful and very tender piece of meat. It was incredible value at only £7.50. I also tried the Stilton sauce, which was clearly homemade and full of cheese and flavor. My wife, who is not a carnivore, enjoyed the 3 bean chili. We both finished our meals with the crumble, which was very good. I definitely recommend this pub if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere and good food.

Just popped in for a quick drink. The person who served the drinks was very pleasant cheerful. A good selection of drinks reasonable prices. They do food which looked good but I can’t comment on it as we only had a drink.

The meal was fantastic and reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back. The staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant, as the food is delicious and it won't break the bank.

Enjoyable lunch with good pint of beer in a proper pub. Nothing fancy but good pub food at reasonable prices.
