The Eastern Eye

I dined here with my family after it was recommended and I have to admit I wasn’t impressed. We found a pubic hair in our chicken curry and the glasses that were given to us for our water had lip marks on them. When I called the owner over Kalam he was really rude and said I must of put the hair in the curry so I could get a free one. I was shocked and we paid our bill and left the restaurant I couldn’t grasp how rude he was. On the way home I looked up the restaurant and saw that Plymouth council gave thethe Eastern Eye Food Hygiene Rating of (Improvement Necessary!!! And that was in January and from what I can see no improvements have been made. I’m flabbergasted as to why this place hasn’t been shut down!!!

Great food, good portion sizes Service can be a bit slow at timesThe walls are covered with what looks like PG-rated scenes from the Kama Sutra.

Having visited many Indian restaurants in Plymouth, I accidentally came across the Eastern Eye Indian Restaurant at Notte Street in Plymouth.
