This is a healthy, fairly priced, high quality establishment for a small, one man operation in a little hole in the wall establishment. Chef Drew uses high quality ingredients to make soups, stews, and bread from scratch all of which are delicious. I had the pleasure of attending a cooking class he gave and learned first hand his commitment to preparing good, healthy food at as reasonable cost as possible. This is a small space with limited to no indoor dining room but in nice weather there is outside seating. We had a mixed take out experience here for lunch. We ordered 2 lobster rolls and added 2 beet feta salads on the side. The homemade roll and the chunks of lobster were delicious. However, they were missing the arugula and pickled onions- my sandwich had none and my husband had 1 piece of arugula and 1 pickled onion (which was amazing when eaten with lobster so you want the pickled onions). Then our salads were regular side salads and not the beet feta ones we had ordered. For a $50 lunch, it would have been nice to get what we ordered but the lobster and roll were delicious so we'll probably try it again next year when we are in Cape May again and hope for better results.
Fantastic lobster roll! We ate ours so quickly we didn't snap a picture, but this lobster roll is one to remember. We would put this lobster roll up against any in Maine, in fact. We ordered a second before leaving! The bread was perfect and the buttery lobster was delicious. Drew adds a small, cute salad on the side as a perfect accompaniment. Speaking of, Drew is kind and the type of person who makes you feel like family. We can't wait to visit again and try his soups and more!
