The staff who gave us cake did not package it properly so when it was put in bag it smashed. We asked her to help us fix it because it was obviously heir fault for not closing lid on cake box, she said we would need to purchase a new cake entirely. I actually called them again because I thought it wasn't fair that they did that to us even though the cake was damaged because of them. Really disappointed becuase we always buy cakes from them but he person who packaged it today didn't do it properly so definitely their fault. The women on the phone was just arguing saying that they can't do anything about it even though it was their fault and the cake was smudged before leaving but only Noticed...
We’ve purchased cakes here a few times and they are a family favourite. Nicely baked light cakes with cute decorations. Last week we purchased two slices and the server put them both in the same box. My son asked for them to be in two boxes (one slice was going to someone else) but this was refused. I asked him to go back into the shop and ask again but the server just put another box into the bag. You guessed it, one slice got dropped when we tried to put it into the other box. Frustrating and a waste of money.
All the cakes looked amazing so after shopping in st johns we went back to get a couple of cakes to take home. I wish I'd saved my money because they were honestly the worst tasting cakes I've probably ever had. Almost no flavour and far to much squirty cream! The Victoria sponge was basically just cream on cream. After trying both cakes and disliking we realised they were no egg cake. Maybe that is the reason that they were so bland, but who knows. Either way I won't be returning
Stale as ever could hardly bite Into it. The variations a simply a vanilla cupcakes with a piece of something that sets it apart from others. Cookie and cream was a vanilla cupcakes with a Oreo on top.. bueno chocolate was a vanilla cupcakes with a chocolate on top.

I ordered a birthday cake from cakebox via Uber eats when my oven broke and I was unable to make my daughter a birthday cake. Within 40 mins I had a fresh, personalised birthday cake in my fridge and it was delicious!
I don't know how taste other cakes from them but cheese cake it's not cheese cake no I dia. It's not cheese taste horrible looking good but taste not like cheese no understand how can be this for sale never again.
I ordered a Red Velvet Rose cake with a handwritten message. The cake itself was gorgeous but it is mostly cream and air, and not a lot of sponge, which was disappointing as I had wanted a red velvet cake.
Great eggless cake, ordered due to allergies but honestly couldn't tell the difference even nicer than cakes with egg.
