Quick review for locals in SoCal: Sandra and I recently visited The Eldo, formerly known as Eldorado Bar and Grill, and I’ll keep this brief. It was fantastic! The food, service, and drinks were all excellent. There’s a great variety of dishes to cater to different tastes, and the beer selection is quite extensive. The chef is South African and has put some incredible spins on classic pub favorites, like fish and chips, featuring a unique white fish from South Africa. The bar offers a solid range of hard liquor, though I didn’t notice anything particularly high-end, but everything tasted great. I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and had high hopes after hearing so many rave reviews. I started off by ordering a draft IPA, but it was surprisingly warm, which made me worried about the rest of the evening. However, after finishing the beer and enjoying our appetizers, which were fantastic, my spirits lifted. Next, I tried a cocktail that was quite strong, which was a nice bonus. Finally, when our main courses arrived, I was blown away by how delicious everything was. I really love this place and will definitely be back!
The food here is fantastic! I've tried the lamb shank, prawns, filet mignon, buffalo wings, Tavern burger, potato skins, mac and cheese, calamari, and even escargot. However, the service could use some improvement. When a customer orders an appetizer, the waitress should automatically bring plates and napkins or silverware. I find myself having to ask for these things in the bar area all too often.
I brought couple of friends from work to the El Dorado and we all had happy hour menu items appetizers little bit of everything and it was all delicious and my friends really love the new waitress V she was very helpful with the menu items and the service was great I plan on bringing my friends back great place

Great sports bar with great food and great drinks. Try the lamb shank or any of their South African dishes. Salads are large and fantastic. Lamb burger a favorite. Good deals on happy hour
Great place to go and watch live music. Nice and clean with a great selection of craft beers. Food is excellent. Amazing South African chicken curry rice! It was delicious!
Thoroughly enjoyed the sunset outside on the patio! As usual, the servers were nice, and tried the lamb shank for the first time delicious! Glad it was added to the menu.
