We were in Cardiff for the Paul Heaton concert at Cardiff Castle, we arrived a day early, so took the opportunity to visit a good Indian Restaurant. A quick review on Trip Advisor threw up this gem of a restaurant. After reading reviews it was obviously very special. Starters consisted of the obligatory poppodoms and pickles, followed by onion bhajias and Bhuna prawn on puri all washed down with some ice cold Cobra. A real good start, to our night with wonderful tasting starters. Empire has been our go to takeaway curry house for years and I can’t believe we waited this long to visit the restaurant itself! We visited the restaurant on a Monday evening, with friends for my birthday celebration. Like always the food was nothing short of excellent, 100% the best Indian food in Cardiff! Very tasty and fresh! The atmosphere was great and the service was outstanding! Servers were extremely attentive and couldn’t do enough for you!
