This hotel is very modern and hip. The location is convenient allowing you to walk to most places. The rooms are relatively comfortable and the showers are great. I stayed here while attending a professional conference. The biggest issue is this is a very noisy hotel and lacks a lot of practical amenities, such as small vending or a place to buy a soda or snack, no ice, no room fridges. If you need any snack or drink or ice you have to call room service. There is a restaurant/bar on the roof top that draws a lot of local foot traffic in making the place very crowded. On the weekend there will be a line wrapping around the side walk of people waiting to access the rooftop. All patrons going to the rooftop and the guests use the same elevator. Overall, this was not a good fit for my stay. Music and conversation could be heard from my room way into the night each night.
They denied my entrance to the rooftop because they didn’t accept an international ID. I find it unbelievable considering it’s a hotel that thrives on tourist demand. This has never happened to me in any other establishment in the city. The overall attitude left a lot to be desired from this establishment.
