a decent pub with a beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and good eating. I would have preferred the possibility of a good rump or Sirloin steak instead of the minute steak or overpriced rib eye £31.50) on the menu. Drinks are a little expensive to ale, £4.50), though about the same as other similar places.

it was a nice lunch .food was good. hauptbraten was good delicious .. pudding ie zitrone tart was bland. .could be a little warmer in the pub . it was so cold. .but all staff members were very friendly. they say the heating is always up, a chap that works it told me they keep it out because it gets hot!.t

Lovely drop of craft beer and lager and fine venue and garden to boot The fact it’s right by the canal as well makes for a fine day plan
