We’re on holiday from Australia and dropped in. The last time I was here was nearly 40 years ago. We had a wonderful evening. Great food and service. A lovely calm and welcoming atmosphere. Very poor attempt at a Linguine which consisted mainly of pasta and two pieces of chicken, not to mention it was swimming in oil. Chef definitely phoned it in as the owner was away so thought it was acceptable to serve up such a poor quality dish. Very disappointed. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
I recently visited The Exhibition for the first time since moving to Godmanchester in July. Wow, the roast dinner (beef) was absolutely amazing. The food was impeccable and I am already excited for my next visit for another roast dinner. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
