I purchased a Rancilio machine from the Expresso Shoppe about 15 years ago and I used to buy their coffee for a long time until their days/hours changed, and I was not able to get there on time. I was very happy with their service at that time and the coffee was excellent. So, when my current espresso machine broke, I took it there for repair. I’ve given Esspresso shop five stars because his coffee is consistently excellent and always always taste the same ! At times I’ve even asked David to custom grind the beans for me. Again always consistent always delivers on time no matter what part of the country I travel to he’s on my speed dial. As far as fixing machines there are so many different makers of espresso machines out there each one has parts that are particular only to them selves and sourcing them and waiting for other vendors to get you the parts causes many delays . Do not take your machine to this repair shop. According the business owner he is Overworked and understaffed causing a 1 month repair to take 12 . He will also never update you on any progress on the machine, unless he needs more money to fix it. I asked him to please just give me an update every couple months but instead I literally had to call him 10 times in a row to get him to even answer his phone. Decided to just pick up my still broken machine instead of hearing more excuses on why he doesn 't feel like working on it.
They are a bit laid back but really know their business! I brought in an older expresso machine and he completely overhauled it. Also showed me how to avoid problems I 'd been having without me telling him I had ever had them! I 'm very happy with my new machine and how it and I were treated and recommend them for anyone.
