The Falcon - Réserver une table

We visited last night for a special birthday meal. The welcome was warm, homely and genuine. Drinks were good, reasonably priced and paired well with the food on offer. We had Seafood starters and they both were well portioned, fresh and the accompanying sauces were well balanced. For main we took the Beef Wellington for 2. This was undoubtedly the star of the show, this is very hard to get right. The pastry was crisp and tasty whilst the Beef remained perfectly moist, tender and flavoursome it came accompanied with veg and a sauce which was the perfect mix. For Dessert we took the Tarte Tatin for 2 realistically it could be for 4 it was huge, and whilst not your traditional way of making it...

The Falcon in Buntingford is fantastic! The restaurant is stunning and has a great atmosphere. I love going there for my morning coffee and occasionally picking up some items from their deli, which are all delicious! My husband and I went for dinner recently and the food was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Whether you're a local or not, I highly recommend stopping by The Falcon for any meal of the day.

Visiting for the weekend from London honestly, food was amazing. Mussels were an incredible starter, the grilled sole was immaculate and we also got the slow roasted rump from the specials menu. Would definitely come back here again if we’re in the area. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment!!!

The meal and ambiance at this restaurant were excellent. The service was accommodating, though a bit slow. The main dishes were slightly under seasoned, but overall they were well prepared and beautifully presented. The prices were fair.

Have been here 3x in as many weeks, lovely people, lovely place- excellent food.....well worth a visit!
