I came here for a quiet birthday meal with a couple of friends. Booking was a breeze and confirmation of my booking was very prompt indeed. The Kings Head itself is beautiful, clean and open. The courtyard area is large but not packed with tables as to make it feel smaller than it really is giving you a great sense of private dining. The inside of the building is lovely and cosy also with that same sense of space and privacy, perfect for our requirements. Catching up with friends we hadn't seen for a while over some good food and wine. That was what I wanted and the Kings Head staff delivered! The food was amazing, The cob stews were definitely worth every penny and were delicious. The wine...

This cozy little pub is hidden away from the main square in town. We had a great time enjoying a few beers (I highly recommend trying the Beechwood Bitter local brew) before ordering dinner. We both opted for the fish and chips, which arrived promptly, piping hot, and delicious. The pub has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with staff who are also very friendly. There is a spacious outdoor area at the back of the pub as well. I recommend visiting this charming place for a pint and skipping the loud chain restaurants that are common in the area. It's worth paying a little extra for the great beer here.

We made a reservation for our anniversary at this restaurant. It is located in the town center, but parking is difficult and you have to pay. After ordering drinks and sitting outside, we were informed that they were out of burgers. I tried to change my order to fish and chips, but they were also out. When my husband expressed his disappointment and mentioned it was our anniversary, the bartender just laughed. We decided to leave as this was unacceptable. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning.

The King's Head is an historic coaching inn in the heart of Aylesbury with much of its old character remaining. It is the main pub for the excellent Chiltern Brewery outside of town an serves their range of ales, with excellent cask ales. One can also buy bottles of their beer to take as well as other items such as their own preserves made using their ales. The food is excellent. We had an outstanding Sunday roast here. Cask Beechwood Bitter was a perfect accompaniment and Three Hundreds Old Ale went well also. Réservez une table maintenant

We preordered and paid for three burgers at 2pm, but by 3:30 we still hadn't received our order. We decided to leave and requested a refund. The reason given was that it was Father's Day, but despite the restaurant being only half full, no one from the staff offered an explanation or apology. The Adnams Ale we ordered also wasn't up to par. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Came in here with 2 friends on a Friday night. I’ve lived in Aylesbury for years but it was the first time I’ve been inside the pub. The interior is amazing, the pub was really busy which is an accolade. We ordered food and all 3 dishes were excellent. Service at the bar was also excellent. Would definitely come back.

Wow! What a lovely place to have a drink, but I do not recommend eating there. We went twice to the bar to see why our food had not come what happened to customers service. Eventually after over an hour after we ordered our food at the bar it came.

Great local beers on tap and menu looks worth a try. Will go back for that, one of the most historic sites in town and original stained glass windows with tours if you want it.
