The Farmer's Daughter

I have been to this restaurant and loved it each time, until tonight. I took my wife for Valentine’s Day and was surprised at the quality of the food. Normally the food is prepared well and quite wonderful, but tonight it was a different story. The calamari was undercooked, the romaine salad was drenched in salad dressing, the sea bass was overcooked. I wondered if Chef Abu was out for the evening and it was a little experienced line chef in charge of the food, but no Chef Abu was present. This was the first time that I have had a disappointing dinner at The Farmer’s Daughter. I suppose anyone can have a bad night, so hopefully this was that one bad night.

My husband chose this restaurant for his birthday dinner with us both and our son and our daughter. None of us had ever dimmed there. To our surprise and joy we loved this place and will definitely return. I had the scallops with fried Okra and sun-dried tomato grits that I couldn't eat because of my milk allergy and they happily replaced them with fingering potatoes. The food was delicious! My husband had the braided oxen that he loved. Both my son and my daughter had the Coq co Vin Chicken that they enjoyed very much. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

We were happy. Loves the seating at the fireplace. The only drawback is that you cannot take advantage of the happy hour and sit there. You have to sit at the bar. Not sure why that is. We enjoy drinks at the regular price at the fireplace and then went to the bar to take a look at the Happy Hour price. It should be one. Otherwise it was nice.

The food was good. My husband had the lamb his meal was delicious. I had the short rib the second part was amazing. Great customer service. Overall a great experience with our children in tow. I would definitely recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was amazing. I went here for our anniversary dinner. Everything was cooked to perfection. The drink selection was great! I enjoyed the candle lighting and fireplace! Look forward to having our wedding here in October!

Diversified menu, great service. The specials and the regular menu are all spectacular. Went for a family birthday and they made it special without being over the top . Definity a favorite restaurant.

We had an amazing birthday lunch here on Tuesday. The cheese board was incredible as was the Turkey sandwich and short rib sandwich. The team that day was incredible. We will definitely be back.

Lunch and service was excellent. Outstanding cheese plate. Ham and white bean soup was great. Sandwiches and dessert were very good. All around it was a very pleasant experience. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was fabulous. Had lamb and it fell from the bone. Others in our group had fish especially, and meat especially, both great. Service was very attentive and helpful.
