You can't beat the location, and the inn has a charming atmosphere. We prefer boutique hotels over traditional bed and breakfasts, and the Farmhouse Inn offers a lovely mix of both. While we enjoyed our stay, it's important to note a few aspects that may not suit everyone: there is no lobby or on-site staff; you'll receive a code to access both exterior and interior doors; and daily housekeeping is not provided. In Room 2, there are a few hooks on the wall but no closet, so you'll want to pack in a way that allows you to live out of your suitcase or use the bench in the room for your clothes. Very poor experience. While the location is close to everything, its also close to the train tracks so I awakened throughout the night EVEN with a white noise machine. The mattress compresses down to a pack of cards and the bed is VERY short. The room is right out a NYC hotel room as in tiny...there is no way it could accommodate more than one person. There is not comfortable place to sit. The owners were unresponsive to questions and they did not event serve breakfast. After booking they mentioned I had to eat elsewhere. This is hidden gem in Whitefish. We didn’t stay here but we had breakfast on our last day. We tried several places for breakfast, and they were good, but this is other level of greatness It’s amazing food, super cozy ambiance, most of places don’t have or “doesn’t work” espresso Machine, but here in FH coffee is delicious, pastries are super good, and breakfast is die for. We had breakfast sandwich and burrito , just amazing, full of flavor, great quality of ingredients, table by us had avocado toast, looked like nothing I saw before. Must try. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Unfortunately, the owners were not responsive to any of my inquiries, and to make matters worse, they didn’t even provide breakfast, stating that I would need to find somewhere else to eat after I booked. The directions for the Wi-Fi were incorrect, which was frustrating. The walls were thin as well, and I could hear the couple in the room across the hall. To top it all off, the only parking spots available were under a tree that dripped sap on my vehicle. Overall, it was a disappointing stay!
My family and I made a special effort on two occasions to visit this charming little restaurant, but were left disappointed. Both times, it was during their advertised hours, and Google Maps indicated they were open. However, we found the door locked and the restaurant completely dark. We believe we would really enjoy this place if we could ever get in, but unfortunately, we won't be making the trip again.
I can’t speak to the hotel because we didn’t stay here, but let me just say that the food here is fantastic. My family ate a good variety of everything pastries, avocado toast, etc but I had the best bagel and lox I had on this trip back to the USA. I lived in Brooklyn for 17+ years, and this is a very good bagel. Highly recommended for folks staying in Whitefish.
We stayed at the Inn for only one day and found it to be very conveniently located near downtown. The room had everything we needed except a switch to switch off the hallway light that was shining through the door when the room's lights were turned off.

This place is absolutely adorable with amazing location in right downtown Whitefish. The rooms were very tidy with all the amenities you would expect
This place looks good but it is not open yet. They said it will be a couple months and it is late September.
