The Farquharson Arms

I had a delightful meal here with my mother, enjoying both vegetarian options: the three-bean chili and the spinach pancakes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks to both the pub owner and the other patrons. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Despite the limitations of being tied to Hall & Woodhouse, the Badger Best beer was served in excellent, crystal-clear condition. This shows that the pub owner is truly skilled in his trade, demonstrating excellent cellar management and maintaining clean lines. I was very impressed and would be happy to return. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Stopped off here for lunch on the way to the coast. Obviously very popular with the locals and a steady flow of visitors also. We found it by chance but would highly recommend it based on our experience. Very friendly staff, very good lunch menu with plenty of choice, a pleasant atmosphere and good food.

Nev and Lesley provide a genuine country pub experience with their lovely Sunday carvery. My children enjoy the gardens and the delicious selection of home made deserts. All the staff are helpful and it has become our regular Sunday outing.

I had a fantastic evening at the Fargharson Arms open mic night. There was a great mix of music to dance to! The staff were delightful—friendly and easy to chat with, which made for a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely local country pub. We really enjoyed our Sunday carvery with all the family. Nice choice of meats and a good selection of sides. X
