We wanted to try the food for quite a while and finally ordered takeaway the egg curry, chilly chicken and egg fried rice. I found the egg curry really odd just some eggs in tomato paste which I feel was a bit pricey. The chilly chicken was too spicy I like hot spicy food but that was too much even for me. Again the price was a bit high considering it didn't come with rice or noodles. The rice was a separate dish and was OK. I did request in my online order to have the food without coriander but both dishes had quite a lot of it. My O/H normally goes here with the boys for curry night and can’t rate it enough. Second year going for Xmas dinner and wow! Food was amazing, portions were huge, staff attentive (and we weren’t the only table in there) Turkey was so succulent and everything cooked exactly as it’s meant to be roast potatoes crispy on the outside perfect and fluffy on the inside, veg al dente, gravy was real gravy, we had made amendments to kids meals and a few adults (no cranberry etc they got all of those spot on even bought the kids and a few of the adults extra pig in blankets! All course were delicious and out of a table of 18 to have not one bad word said agains anything eaten speaks volumes in itself!!...
Decided to pop in since it was the closest place and only across the road from our accommodation. Plan was to make it a starting point before discovering the rest of the area, ended up staying in for the rest of the evening and having food. Nice selection of beers, nice calm and friendly atmosphere. Learned that it’s a family run place and serves Nepalese food. Intrigued gave it a try as everything on the menu sounded really tasty, and I am glad we have done so as the food was amazing. Great portions, super tasty and for London prices really greatly priced. Previously we adored the food here however, tonight's celebratory takeaway was absolutely disgusting. The only dish that tasted fresh was the spinach and the free popadoms, everything else tasted like it was re-heated numerous times. The chicken was dry, the onion bhajis were like plastic. The samosas went in the bin as they were so greasy. I certainly can't recommend nor will be. A repeat customer. Bitterly disappointed. Réservez une table maintenant
Food and service is always very good, indeed, here. My main of Nadiko Machha, Paneer Tikka Shaslick and Saag Aloo were very fine, indeed. Other mains, for two others of Himalayan Green Chicken and King Prawn curry, along with rice sundries were also deemed to be very good.
