Not for me. Car park was full with some selfish and bad parking going so parked elsewhere. Low ceiling felt a little claustrophobic. Very nice interior and character. Drink order never arrived. Had to prompt. Food was lovely. Ordered Sunday Roast. Not biggest portions. Made a joke with one server, fell flat. It all felt a little awkward. Had dessert and was offered bill. Wasn't offered if we wanted anymore drinks. Ordered tea. By the time we barely finished our cups of tea the bill was bought over to us. We hadn't requested it. Paid and different server apologised in respect of problems with coffee machine. Pointed out that we never had or ordered coffee. Just very weird and awkward. On leaving staff member did not say goodbye. It felt like we did something. No idea what. Won't be back. Better places to spend £60 on lunch.

Beautiful Sunday Roast! Great service, food was superb. This pub is stunning, open fires, original stone brick walls inside. Couldn't fault it, our children even got their main courses for free on a Sunday, seemed to be an offer they had on. We will be back! Thank you! Vegetarian options: Lots of good choices for vegies Dietary restrictions: Has a good allergen menu on request Kid-friendliness: Our kids ate for free on the Sunday Wheelchair accessibility: Very good entrance for wheelchairs
