18 of us gathered for a surprise birthday meal.. only not to be seated together. Part of the party was sat in a corner area and the other just below. However all cramped in. Where my seat was I was sat between two tables and had no space to eat. The waitress started to bring the food out at 7.30. The table was booked for 7.30 and not everyone had arrived. The waitresses became disgruntled with us for asking them to return the food to the kitchen and be brought back when the whole party had arrived. All of which looked 'dirt...

Came to The Ferry Inn for a New Year’s Eve meal whilst staying in the Little Retreat in Lawrenny. Called for last minute reservation, very accommodating, and attentive. Meal sizes were large portions and extremely good value for money. Staff were very friendly and we would highly recommend! This pub is dog friendly.

This place has someone who really can cook. Well trained staff. Decent sensible portions. Very welcoming staff in a pleasant pub, in a village. Best pub meal we've had for a long time.
