A friend of mine and I went to get coffee and cake from here and both were exceptional. We dined in and I ordered a large soya latte (which was large by the way) and the strawberry cheesecake and my friend ordered a flat white...with a bakewell slice. We enjoyed it so much we went back later in the day and ordered coffee to take out which was just as good. They have a service hatch for take out which is great if you are more COVID conscious and don’t like the idea of going inside to get coffee. The staff are very friendly and attentive too. If you are a coffee lover, you must visit this place!
here's coffee and cake stopped in the morning. I am milk and gluten-free and while they have a gluten-free cake (cook), it was not milk free, so there was nothing I could eat on the menu (and no suggestions from the personal about any...other options, I saw on their regal of prepackaged cookies, but could not see anything obvious) my man had the Krug tar he said was very good. if they have no dietary requirements, then it is likely to go a nice place. Unfortunately, we will not go back because they were not able to take care of me.
they pass and decided to stop at lunch. was quite disappointed by the service, we sat and ordered our lunch 2 croque monsieur and 2 tees. after 15 minutes our tee arrived, another 15 minutes later no food arrived, we asked a waiter. he went to buy, and he advised that it was a problem with a flee and that was what the delay was. When our food arrived, we had drunk our tee! and no excuse for the delay.
Lovely place to eat in Bath! Recommended by my parents as somewhere for my Husband and I to have lunch on our mini moon! We ordered the bread olives and 2 croque madame's which were absolutely delicious! Also bought the olive oil we had...with the bread in the cheese shop next door as enjoyed it so much! Would recommend for anyone visiting Bath :)

Great choice on the menu, even for those who don't want cheese. The cheese board is always a delight: 3 different cheeses from the shop served to present a balanced treat. Service from the team is always friendly and helpful. Then you can visit the...cheese counter to buy more of what you've tasted.
I only shopped for cheese so no comments on other food. Amazing, informed, fun advice from someone who really knew her stuff. If they don't have a particular cheese, they have great suggestions (and samples). Thorough range of West Country cheese and further afield. Can't...recommend it enough.
we have really tied the cheese so that this seemed the perfect situation and we were not disappointed. blue cheese and steltons soup, followed by croque monsieur and croque madame, it was absolutely delicious. but no light meal, we felt stuffed to the evening....Staff was also great.
The service was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Not only were they super attentive, but hugely knowledgeable. It was a special occasion and they really made sure we felt special and had a good time. I would go back every weekend if I could....Thank you all for being incredible x

quality and presentation of food is excellent. a great place to lunch. croque monsieur and madame were both delicious and lovingly prepared. every ingredient is obviously carefully applied. will return to try more.
