We thought we would try some where different for Fish and Chips so did a serch and this plaec came up .Most of the fish they had available were falsely labled (named ) really only had Basa and Nile Perch . The " Dory " was Basa and the Blue Grenadier was either Hoki ( as waitress inferred) at best and Basa at worst . The girl serving had no clue as to what the fish were or that they were being deceptive . would never go again .. also small serving ...
This has to be the most flavourless fish and chips that I've experienced on the Gold Coast. I have tried it on many occasions (it is our local fish and chip shop) hoping I had just had a one off bad experience, but not the case. To top it off, almost every time I've been there they get our order totally wrong, even though we try to explain it very clearly multiple times. Very disappointing!
I live in Varsity and have The Fish usually once a fortnight for dinner. Always fresh, helpful happy staff and extremely quick with orders usually only taking 10 mins. -Personally recommend the grilled fish, all accompanying marinates are equally delicious!!-
The fish are a friendly lot of staff.The food is really good especially their patato scallops and chips not to greasy and chips also.We at least once a fortnight when it's our take away night. Réservez une table maintenant
Awesome place. We practically live above it and often get take away. Very friendly staff. Fish taste is good and chips always seems crispy. Recommended. Price is also good
I had lunch here and enjoyed the fish. It was nice and well cooked. Only thing of note is I thought it was a little pricey. But it tasted good enough that I would go back.
Always top quality fish & chips here! It's become our favorite local takeaway. Staff are friendly, always promptly served and great meals!
