I had my first visit to this restaurant (coming from Ontario) and our experience tonight was amazing! Our server, Andrea, was exceptional—even though she’s actually the Head Bartender filling in for someone who is out sick. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The crab cakes were delicious, the oysters Rockefeller were incredible, the sirloin was cooked to perfection, and the lobster dinner was superb. I’ve never had a better restaurant experience anywhere!
I had to try this restaurant because they offered Oysters Rockefeller, and I was not disappointed! The scallops were fantastic as well, though the beef cheeks weren't particularly memorable. The service was exceptional, and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of adding candles to the dessert for a birthday celebration. The interior was visually appealing, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful.
The atmosphere was truly exceptional, and every dish we had was delicious. Our server was charming and incredibly helpful. We plan to return before we leave Halifax at the end of our vacation. This restaurant is among the best we've experienced in terms of taste, ambiance, and service—and we are quite particular about our dining choices!
Outstanding food and exceptional service! We tried the rack of lamb and the salmon, and both dishes were simply exquisite. We were truly impressed. The staff goes above and beyond; their charm and attentiveness make me think they must receive special training. We had a wonderful evening and can’t wait to return!
We had an amazing experience here. We are on our honeymoon and our waitress, Laura, made us feel so special the entire evening. The food and service were phenomenal, not to mention the history and stories shared with us about the historic building. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back.
