I had a wonderful dining experience at this pub, which is slightly off the beaten path. I only deducted one star because the interior, including the square mats and cutlery, feels a bit dated. However, the staff and the food are outstanding. I would categorize this as high-quality 'pub food.' I had the stuffed bun while my companion ordered the black buckle. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and we savored every bite. If you're in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit.
The first time we visited Flintlock Inn, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the drinks were very affordable. All the food was prepared to a high standard, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The vegan wine was fantastic as well. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning!
very enjoyed our lunchtime. I enjoyed the heap and minze suppe with really delicious warm focaccia brot all very beautifully presented. had an avocado and pfeffersandwich, which was also very good. will definitely return. very accessible from the A302...so practically for those who travel from south to Devon/Cornwall.
