Roasts arrived and required heating up, the roast potatoes were dry. The rest of it was lovely meat cooked really well. The sticky toffee pudding went down very well but I was disappointed in the brownie, crumbled as soon as I put my spoon in; didn’t eat most of it. The ice cream was very tasty so a mixed experience food wise. The staff were brilliant and took some money off the bill which was really appreciated
I booked a table via this website at the end of September for the 15th October for my birthday for 6 people to arrive at the Florence to them saying I hadn’t booked but when they checked they said it was now on there? They had to make up up a table by the toilets in the bar area not in the restaurant just disappointing
Really lovely small pub, good ales on cask, good covid measures, friendly staff, but the highlight is the food which is incredible! I had the Thai Green Curry, my wife had the burger, both were fresh and packed with flavour. I honestly wish I lived closer so I could come back again soon!
This establishment has everything and more for a top quality dinning experience. Can’t praise it enough !!!! In our top five of places to eat . Liking the finer things in life and being great foodies we rate this establishment very highly. Réservez une table maintenant
The waitress made a real fuss about us and our dog. The area of the pub that we sat in had a certain odour. I expect that is where everyone that has a dog is sat. The food took longer than I expected to arrive.
Off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Good Covid 19 virus controls in place. Very clean Great staff. Great food. So glad we found it. Will definitely return.
The staff was outstanding, the service was excellent, and there was a fantastic variety of gluten-free options. My wife was happy, so I was happy too!
