Used to come here just for drinks, then, a couple of years ago, I noticed the Christmas menu (I wasn't vegan then) so tried some of the main menu to see if it was worthy of a Christmas dinner with the family (8 of us takes some cooking at home) and the food was amazing, we went back three Christmases running. Now as a vegan it's a whole new flavour sensation, I wasn't expecting to see anything on the menu and was pleasantly surprised. The venue can get a little noisy if the football is on but it is child friendly, there are booths to the back if you wanted a little more quiet. The food and drink quality is always fantastic, never had to complain or send anything back, great service generally...
I recently visited this restaurant to meet up with a friend, and I must say, I was impressed! The atmosphere inside is so friendly and welcoming, with everyone chatting with each other like a proper community pub. The food we had was absolutely fantastic, even better than any pub food I've had in the past.
Had a lovely experience in the flute today- had great food and drinks- there was a fabulous member of staff called Thea who helped me out immensely- such a nice woman! She was so helpful with the Mixr app and the menu. A real credit to the company!
A very busy, friendly pub. Staff always seem happy and have a good knowledge of the real ales they sell. A good balance of real ales and more popular pub beers and ciders. A good range of spirits and cocktails too!

Fabulous service, great atmosphere, nice toilets. Really can’t fault the place, not too posh, not too humble. Lots of screens for sports , otherwise piped music. Good range of beers to choose from
Left O'neills cus Rugby not on, Crowd were enjoying Ireland v Tonga, till they turned sound off for a singer, why do all the pubs in Solihull seem to do this
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, the atmosphere is amazing, and the staff provides excellent service! I highly recommend visiting anytime.
Great for the football and a few drinks, had the champions league games on loads of screens and a good selection of beer on tap

Visited 2023. Contrary to older reviews, the only vegan options are a katsu curry and a salad. Won't be back.
Shaun provided excellent service all night at the Flute and Flagon. I highly recommend visiting!
