This pub is incredibly friendly and attracts a diverse mix of age groups. It truly embodies the essence of a pub, offering an impressive selection of local ales and a wide variety of lagers. They also have a gin bar! You can enjoy activities like pool and a book exchange, and there's a cozy fire to keep you warm. The owner, Chris, and his wife, Carol, take great care of the place and are wonderful charitable workers who genuinely care about the community.
This is a warm and relaxing pub that occasionally hosts events. They've revamped their drink selections, making it a great spot for families with good value for money. There are also lovely walking trails nearby. I celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday here, and the owners did a fantastic job. The buffet was excellent, and the kids were well entertained. We were lucky to have sunny weather, which allowed us to enjoy the outdoor space as well.
Excellent Pub, supported us with a great breakfast before a stag do last week. Good selection of beers and great staff. In an ideal location on a main road and at the top of a large estate.
Great atmosphere, staff very nice and friendly , smells fresh and clean. Dogs welcome , pool table is a bonus and favourite alcohol on draft! Réservez une table maintenant
