The staff here are lovely. It was really busy when we were there for Sunday lunch but there were lots of staff who were attentive and efficient. The food was mostly very good and the prices reasonable. They have a particularly good gluten free and vegan offering. The only poor point was that I asked if there was a gluten free Sunday roast and was told there was. However it was just the usual lunch without Yorkshire or gravy. It was really dry without gravy. If they had said that is what they would serve it would have been ok. I would have chosen something else. Everyone else's meals were lovely they said.
I always feel welcome at this restaurant and the food is always top-notch! Even if there is a rare mishap in the kitchen, they are always willing to fix it without any hassle. I can bring my dog and relax in a quiet area outside while enjoying a coffee or meal. There is ample parking, and the restaurant is comfortable and clean. This place is one of my favorite spots to frequent.
After a confusion elsewhere over a booking, a quick call to The Flying Fox resulted in an offer to accommodate all four of us (and a baby) on the spot.
