We have been here a couple of times in the last few months. Both times the food was very good, and both times the staff were very friendly. We went without booking both times, both times were when they just opened and we got a seat, but towards the end the restaurant was getting full. I would recommend, and we will be going back. The food is very good and prices are reasonable.
There is a new cocktail bar on the premises, as well as a good village pub that serves lunchtime food. In the evenings on Thursdays, there are pop-up food vendors. There is also a good Indian restaurant located next door. The establishment offers good beer at sensible prices, and has a large garden. It is also very child friendly.
The food at this restaurant was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The calamari was unanimously agreed to be the best we've ever had, while the homemade onion rings were crispy and golden. Our drinks were served in their proper glasses with lots of ice and lemon/lime wedges. We will definitely be returning.
Loads of people had recommended The Fox for its Mexican restaurant and I can understand why. It’s a nice setting with great service but the food is the real star of the show. Everything we ate was top quality and we are looking forward to going back and next time we won’t be driving so we can sample the tequilas!!! Réservez une table maintenant
My wife and I dined at this restaurant on a Saturday evening and it was crowded. We took advantage of the two t-bone steaks for £22 deal, which was a great value. The food was delicious, and we also enjoyed a nice Malbec. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly.
