The Fox At Carlton

WOW. What a wonderful Sunday lunch. Must be one of the best roast dinners we've ever had. The locally sourced roast beef was out of this world tender so tasty. The mixed veg and cauliflower and brocolli gratin were exquisite. All this served with delicious roasties to die for. We just love the welcome and friendly service in this comfy, traditional, cosy country pub. Thank you Alison, Molly and friends for making our Sunday lunch so exceptional. Be back soon. Pam Ellie xx

Five of us visited The Fox for lunch following a recommendation and we enjoyed a superb pub lunch. Choice of 3 well kept real ales, We had fish cakes and chicken ham and leek pie. Spoilt for choice on the desserts, I opted for the apple crumble and custard, and was not disappointed. Just left wondering how good the bread and butter pudding would have been. A perfect pub lunch, traditional, wholesome food served by a very personable Molly who added to our enjoyment.

First time here and won't be the last. Lovely old fashioned pub with outdoor seating, covered and uncovered. Warm welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar and we were doted on. Service was excellent. The difference in a trip out when people actually engage with you rather than just plop your food down. Grub was excellent and the low prices made it a double win. A thoroughly first class experience, thank you

We were visited for the weekend and enjoyed beer in the nice pub garden. Very friendly ladies serving us and village pub atmosphere. We will be back next year when visiting the raceway. Thank you.

having not been for some time due to covid rules went back today for lunch,food great as usualpleased to return great service very pleasant landlady
