managed to get a wellie bar table one Friday evening. Service was A1 from all serving and bar staff, yes the food is a little more pricey than your standard pub food, but the food is many levels above standard in terms flavour and quality. lots of gluten free choice and the information provided was extremely detailed leaving us feeling special and not like GF awkward customers would advise to book, to avoid disappointment. its also dog friendly, and dogs will love the dog treats, I was tempted to trying myself they looked so good Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I stumbled upon this pub by chance and decided to check it out from the outside. The following week, we returned, but the bartender informed us they didn't start serving food until 6 PM. So, we took some time to look over the menu. I’m not a fan of seafood, but I ended up enjoying the beer-battered cauliflower. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant opened right on time!
Having eaten here a number of times now, I can confidently say that the food here is.excellent. Well presented and delicious food served in comfortable and elegant surroundings; I always make sure to stop off here on my way through the north-east.
