Visited Bury for the weekend in our motorhome. We found this pub was round the corner from where we were staying and went in for Saturday afternoon lunch around 2pm. Staff were friendly and made you feel at home, especially as we had our 21 month old cavapoo, Dolly with us. Food was superb and the ales on tap were excellent. We enjoyed her experience so much we booked for Sunday lunch the next day which didn’t disappoint either. My wife had roast pork and loved the baked apple in the side. I had the mushroom and Stilton wellington and I couldn’t fault it. All in all a wonderful experience and we will return with friends and family when we are in the area again. Keep up the great hospitality.
We recently had our staff Christmas party at this restaurant on 21/12/23 for a group of 40 people. We just wanted to express our gratitude for the warm and efficient service provided by the staff. They were friendly and helpful throughout the evening. The food was exceptional and we will definitely be booking again next year. Thank you to all the staff and have a Happy Christmas.
Popped in after a dog walk for some lunch. We hadn’t booked and they were very busy but this wasn’t a problem for Nat her team. The dogs and us were welcomed with open arms and seated quickly. Ordered the steak melt ciabatta and the feta, pear and honey open sandwich which were both so delicious. Would definitely recommend. Well done everyone
We held our works Christmas party at the Fox lazt saturday and the food was fantastic, very tasty and lots of it . The staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful .Everyone asked me when could we book again for next year.i would hab ve no hesitation in recommending the fos for a meal either as a group or a couple

What a wonderful lunch we had today at the Fox. Very friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. Delicious food, the dessert was superb! We had never visited the pub before but will definitely be back. Thank you to the team for a lovely lunch this Christmas Day!
Once again, The Fox team delivered a flawless meal. Mario cooked my steak perfectly, Natalie was attentive as our server, and Clare was fantastic behind the bar. The Fox team is exceptional. Thank you for a delightful evening.
Today, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at the restaurant. The atmosphere of the pub was charming with cozy Christmas decorations, and the staff were extremely attentive. Despite being busy, we hardly had to wait for our meal.
Overcooked, over microwaved and over priced. Food was tasteless. I could have bought a ready made microwave meal and it would have had more taste and been more enjoyable at a fraction of the price.

I booked this Christmas day Lunch for 8 people and it did not disappoint. Super relaxed atmosphere and excellent service, along with great food considering the number catered for, and great value.
Meal and drinks for 4. The food was lovely as always. We all had the lamb shank. Staff always friendly and attentive. Vic was fab!
