I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt it was necessary this time. This restaurant was my absolute favorite; I didn't even want to move to another state because I didn't want to lose it. I understand that inflation can be tough, but what they have done is ridiculous. Gradually, their pastries have shrunk to a third of their original size and tripled in price, and they aren't even fresh anymore. To top it off, I had to wait 10 minutes just to be acknowledged today. When I finally made it to the register, I was surprised to be instructed about tipping, and I even received a dirty look when I chose not to leave one after paying $10 for a single pastry. Are you serious? You expect me to tip...
Enjoyed the pastry, but the tarts.. meh... could skip.Went to visit friends in LI... and was craving good pastries. Found The French Workshop ... spacious, clean and the dessert looks good. Service was a bit confusing... I think one side is for hot food and one for dessert? Not sure... but I just waited for someone to ask are you being helped? . We got some napoleon... and a mixed tart box. Tarts were ok, didn 't love it... think there 's apple, pecan, apricot and something else... couldn 't remember. But the napoleon was pretty good. Overall love the pastries, deserts and sandwiches here. 1 Star for the macarons I finally decided to splurge on. At $2.95 per cookie I was highly dissapointed in the lack of flavor. They were tender but the passionfruit had zero resemblance to passionfruit and a weird smokey taste, while raspberry tasted very artificial. I had some delicious macarons in my day and these were very underwhelming.
Went here recently, loved eating here while I was exploring The Woodbury Plaza. I ordered the Chicken and Avacado, And I have to say it was 10/10! IT IS SOO JUICY AND the bread is probably the main reason as to which it tastes so good. I would definitely come here again and also order the Nutella Coffee. Recommend to

As for parking, it tends to get quite busy around lunchtime, so I usually try to go later. Even today, around 4 PM, there was still a crowd. Whenever I have to park "far away," I take it as a reason to treat myself to more goodies since I'm burning some extra calories!
Always get their freddo expresso without the sugar. They have an abundance of sandwiches. Whether you are vegan or not. It does get busy so the wait can be a bit. You can always look at the cookies they have and order them as well. Plenty of desserts!
Terrible experience at the place. Didn't have a good menu. Didn't help people in the line in order. Food was equivalent to getting a Starbucks sandwich. Cake was the only saving grace at this terrible place. Just so not worth the time to go.
