The G Factory (previously Creams Factory)

Went for ice cream crepes on a Friday evening. Firstly we noticed the overwhelming heat in the shop, it was hotter than outside and left us with beads of sweat rolling down our foreheads as we ate, which we did quickly did to get out the heat. Ahead of time we checked their site where it clearly said they had vegan ice cream, but when we ordered the young staff member seemed completely confused by the word vegan and just pointed to all their regular ice cream. I quickly repeated myself in case he hadn’t heard me and he said he didn’t know and he’s new (didn’t even try to ask anyone else, when there were 3 other staff members). I ordered food for my family, and when it arrived, I was very disappointed. My wife’s milkshake was lying on its side in the bag and completely empty, and her waffles were packed upside down. When I called to complain, the person on the line accused me of lying. He then asked for my postcode, which he clearly already had since he delivered the order. This kind of issue never occurred when I ordered from The Cream’s Factory. I spent £35 on this order, but most of it is inedible. I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you’re thinking about ordering from them. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would.

I’m not sure where the good reviews come from. The sorbet was okay and the milkshakes were terrible. The older gentleman who was working was also quite rude as when my wife asked to pay he told her to sit and relax. Luckily he came to his senses quickly. UPDATE: After looking through the reviews again, the only good reviews are from people making their first review, it is obvious to me that someone is posting fake reviews to inflate their score. STAY AWAY!
