This place is adorable and very welcoming. We stopped by once for a beer and once again for dinner. When we came to eat, we stumbled upon their pub quiz night which was a nice surprise because we attend the pub quizzes back home. We did quite well! The food is good (exactly what you'd look for in a central EU Irish pub) and there is a decent selection of beers. Location is central but not on the main tourist drag. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I wish I could recall the name of the young Aussie server, who was great at his job and made a positive connection with every customer he spoke to. We arrived just at the time where they switch to the limited menu but he was kind enough to run in our order from the full menu.
Spent £50 in this bar and wanted to stay for Quiz night and more just to say that a lonely random player had reserved this table for Quiz night and was not yet there WTF. Most tables were free and Saddo could sit there who kept the fork a table for quiz night and what kind of place moves a pair that was there all afternoon, pay good money for a twit. Not only that we were expected to sit in the storm of the door WILL NIE GO HERE
Enjoyed a few drinks and a meal in the Galway Bay. This bar is not an ‘Irish theme bar ‘ but a real one. ‘Fear an tí’ (Host), Tomás is actually a Galway man. He was very welcoming and most obliging, ensuring we could watch the Heineken Cup Final with adequate TV volume. Pub is well situated, just a short walk from the old part of Innsbruck. Would recommend. Go raibh maith agat a Thomáis.
This pub is our favourite and must be visited in Innsbruck. The atmosphere is absolutely great and authentic! The staff is very friendly and we always feel very welcome! Also the music rocks, the food is delicious and there is a wide selection of fantastic drinks! We cannot wait to go back and enjoy our Guinness and all you see again!
