To start, we enjoyed the prawn cocktail, which was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh (even if it is reminiscent of the 70s!). The spiced carrot soup was equally delightful, smooth, and flavorful. The bread served with both starters was light and fluffy. For our mains, we had the ox cheek, the fish of the day, and the Sunday sirloin roast. All were absolutely delicious, and the accompanying vegetables were equally tasty. The sticky toffee pudding was a standout dessert! They serve the toffee sauce on the side, allowing you to choose how much you’d like. We have just returned from a perfect weekend at The Cavendish Hotel. The staff cannot do enough for you and made our stay extra special. We loved that breakfast was served until 12pm breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea were all delicious. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire in the bar. The Hartington suite (room 10) was incredible. The hotel is walking distance from Chatsworth House, which is ideal. We cannot wait to stay again it is our third visit and each time it just gets better and better. There is no where better to go for a weekend away, especially at Christmas.

this afternoon tee here as birthday gardens. the personal was so friendly and attentive that we were not rushed at all. restaurant beautiful with a picturesque view. afternoon most beautifully presented, delicious sandwiches and cakes with cake hot tee . we have cleared the decks! thank you cavendish .

We had an excellent experience at the restaurant, with outstanding service, lovely surroundings, and delicious food. We even had the chance to try Rooibos Tea for the first time, which has really improved our sleep patterns! Now, we drink it all the time. Réservez une table maintenant

beautiful afternoon spent in the garden room with sisters for a 60th birthday. the young man who looked at us made our afternoon, he was very attentive and had a nice feeling of humor. highly recommended

Excellent afternoon tea. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I think the staff member we dealt with was called Poppy. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again

Very little to fault the Cavendish. Restaurant greatly improved since last I dined. Delicious food. Accomplished service of relaxed accomplished Charm.
