Went to this delightful little country pub for dinner and wos not disappointed. Warm and friendly reception, seated straight away and the service as well as the food wos first class. I had the salt and pepper squid and prawns followed by the venison burger both were amazing and well cooked and all washed down by a pint lovely. Its a little out of the way but we'll worth setting your satnave and paying it a visit
This was my first time visiting for Sunday lunch and I was really impressed. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent, catering well to both carnivores and vegetarians. The Sunday Roast was especially delicious. I will definitely be returning in the future. A big thank you to the entire team for a wonderful dining experience! This restaurant is amazing. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It's also dog-friendly, which is a big plus. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options. We had a great dining experience for dinner, with prices ranging from £20-£30 per person. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Beef and Ale Pie.
Family run inn, with good food and drinks. The owners are kind and reserved, still ready to strike a conversation. Located in a quiet village with plenty of beautiful walks in the area and a play park just close by. my wife, my baby and I all had a wonderful time when last week we visited the garvald inn for lunch. the ale was fresh and tasty and the seafood, salads and homemade pesto were all divine. we had apricots filled pheasant for our main course, which was a very special dish. thanks for an enormous experience!
