The first time I visited Gasoline Pony I had just moved into the area. I had taken Cobalt to the groomers in the morning. I went to picked him up (walked for 45 minutes) from the groomers and Gasoline Pony was on the way home. It was a Wednesday night.
I collapsed into a chair and waited for my partner to arrive. After B arrived I went to the bar and ordered dumplings and really top shelf quality gin and tonic. This was of course stupid in my case because the tonic water just tasted like soda water (I have a problem tasting Quinine).
The dumplings were good and the gin (and tonic for those who could taste) were good.

J'aime le poney de l'essence. L'atmosphère est confortable et sans prétention, alors qu'il pend sur un bon endroit de l'ami. Si je rencontre des amis qui sont nouveaux à Marrickville, c'est l'un des premiers endroits que je les prends. Il capture l'atmosphère réelle de l'endroit, plus dispose d'un robinet de bière toujours de haute qualité, d'une carte des vins solides et d'une musique live régulière.
great place with an older amount. unusual bands. large ambiente in the back house, nice cooking seats, the smoking gasse away, good for smoker. the bar foods are not brilliant, but also not fabulous. the nachos, knödel and curry. would go definately back for drinks, but eat dinner elsewhere.

Its a nice small bar, very cozy, cocktails so affordable, and their drinks really strong , nice staff. I had the **** mary it tasted to watry for my liking. I prefer it to have thicker consistency, however their martinis and espresso martinis were great highly recommend
Grand personnel, bar à barres et atmosphère. Ces gars soutiennent la musique en direct et la diversité de l'offre dans un lieu intime (Frank Bennett a fait une apparition le 12 décembre). Très aléatoire et sympathique.
I booked the back courtyard space for my birthday, and it was delightful. The staff were so friendly, the food delicious, and the space wonderful and cosy. Highly recommend as a venue for an event!
