The Gate Inn Branston

Not having visited The Gate since before the pandemic, I was delighted to discover that its standards of cuisine and service have remained high, under new ownership. Our meals were all tasty and well-presented, and also offered first class value for money. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and SO much of it! The beef melts in the mouth, delicious. Six types of vegetables, roast and new potatoes, parsnips and Yorkshire pudding, all home cooked meat and not to mention the choice of puddings!

Recently moved to the area and can’t praise the staff enough, Reasonably priced drinks, and whenever we’ve asked to watch a particular sport , they’ve put it on for us.

Since the new owners have taken charge, this pub has been great. Good pints, good atmosphere and family friendly. Looking forward to the full time food menu!

Fantastic Sunday lunch with friends. Excellent portions of beautifully cooked meat with lots of tasty vegetables. Very good value for money.
