We had a delightful dining experience at a charming historic pub located in the picturesque countryside village of Ashley, reminiscent of the Cotswolds. It was our first time visiting, and we decided to try the Tuesday pie night special. The service was top-notch, with a lovely lady named Dominee providing attentive and friendly service with a smile. The food was not only hot and delicious but also came with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the pie portion was on the smaller side, and it would have been great to have a selection of vegetables included in the meal instead of just a small serving of peas for the price. eating both in the evening and in the breakfast was amazing! really good, and the whole team really was really great for us and was so beautiful for us too. the village is an idyllic environment to relax and have a nice break. we made some beautiful dog hikes around the opposite and it was so great that the care for our dog was happy to come with us and even sit with us at dinner in the cozy snug area of the bar/restaurant. many thanks for such a beautiful and comfortable stay. it was a really pleasant, cool place to be!
first time I'm here. I had a very comfortable stay. nice fluffy bed with a good number of kisses, the whole room was in great condition. the services available to them are also clearly outlined. I slept really well, woke up to have breakfast, that was just an excellent (full english) but what on my experience was the customer service. simply on very professional and accommodating. the workers who are willing to go this extra mile for them. if they find themselves here, they're for a contract.
Lovely night away in the George pub in Ashley. Set in a tranquil, pretty village an ideal get away as surrounding countryside stunning. The accommodation was in the coach house, a stones throw from pub. It's both characterful and contemporary, nice hot showers all the necessary provisions available. Food good, excellent choice of beers and lagers. Really nice family run this place, we particularly enjoyed the decked area/ beer garden a pleasant suntrap, definitely f recommend for a visit.

A colleague and I stayed here, our rooms were lovely, the food was really good, the bar staff were friendly and the owners make the place, our taxi went to the incorrect location and the owner Neil, drove us into our office himself. Superb service. Thank you.
I have stayed here some times and love everyone to visit. the owners are very friendly and the food/winning is fantastic! also a great place to stay as it is comfortable and quiet. highly recommended!
Very nice pub with local ales and friendly staff. Had delicious steaks on last visit but have also had a great Sunday lunch there. Looked after our young daughter very well, would highly recommend.
beautiful place in good settings, chris and carole are the perfect host, which is a fantastic cook chris, make this place one on their Bucket list, they will not be disappointed

A real Pub with really friend staff and landlord. Great beer we'll looked after and a dining area for great food. Nice terrace.
