"a great country pub to visit. the food in the offer was of good quality and presented itself well and the mood inside was cozy, but modern. would recommend if they are in the opposite."

relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff, varied menu. I had pizza, my guests chose sea and burgers. I have ruled that I broke this day. only order speciality food from specialized restaraunts, e.g. curry from an Indian restaurant, noodles from a Chinese restaurant and in this case pizza from a pizzeria. the secret of a good pizza is the basic, unfortunately this was a smokey and blande, I ate around a disc and lost my appetit for the rest. if it was not for the fact that the pizza was one of my favorite toppings, Njuda sausage, I boasted the sea stream. my guests saw my dissatisfaction and offered me rehearsals from their hide. the meerbramme was a large filet and the cream sauce was delicately flavored, the burger was fleshy and juicy, looks like the pizza was the only disappointing dish. the waitress offered during cleaning of the table, to box my left pizza for taking. When I went back and passed on my experience, she hurried and spoke to the manager. without rest, the manager deducted the cost of pizza from my bill; Top brands for customer service. overall a pleasant experience.

when we first arrived on the afternoon, they were lined, but by a small table in the winter garden we felt was not really suitable for a Sunday dinner for 6 adult it was cool / caught, we asked to go into the big room with a roaring log burner that the girl did fast and explained, she needs table a little later, so I suppose they were booking others? However, the meal was fabulous and served in very timely warning the yorkshire pudding could be an appetizer on its own faust the bark was nicely cooked, as the veg. desert were also beautiful, all round we felt a beautiful place with a large family ambiente. we will certainly be back, thank you

Just been for lunch. Service friendly. Menu would cater for most tastes. Wine list short, but varied enough to match the food served although the addition of dessert wine, even by the glass, might lift the end of the meal. (Monbazillac, Loupiac or Cerons are nice and are a bit more affordable than Sauternes). Would have been a 5 stars only the balsamic vinegar used with the olive oil as a dip for bread was from the cheaper/sour end of the spectrum.

large country pub, good choice of beer and wine. eating is very tasty, especially the steak and the Ale Pie. the menu is somewhat restricted for the repeat customer, but would recommend a visit. the sitting area in the open is also beautiful. also a decent parking space.
