I moved to blackfen in 2008 and I have been a customer since. I have to say in the past when this place was under different management and staff, there were times when I avoided it mainly by bad service and long waiting times for drinks. I have found that this pub has now and probably improved for about the last decade. the personal is friendly, eating is a good value for money and the pub has a generally good feeling for it. well done to the administration and the staff

A vast pub with lots of space and nice big tables for family dining. Huge and delicious portions, Sunday roasts were yummy too. Busy sports pub with lots of screens showing various sports but the service and hospitality from all staff (especially Michelle) was excellent and the atmosphere was great for family dining (we had a toddler in tow) . Looking forward to returning for more special nights and dining.

Popped in for food with my two kids. Whilst waiting there was an Easter egg hunt where you find 15 numbers and a golden number. They had great fun finding, after some nice food and got their pic on the website. Michelle and the bar staff were also very friendly. Nice end to the Bank Holiday and yet more chocolate. Happy days

First time visiting this pub and I was extremely impressed with the vegan options on the menu, as well as the extensive list of deals available too. I had the plant based burger and it was absolutely delicious, the lady who served us, Michelle, was also an absolute star!! Would definitely recommend!

4 of us popped in this afternoon. Great value for money .. we all enjoyed our meals. Nicely decorated and welcoming. Thank you to Michelle..friendly staff who bought my husbands beer over to him to save him a journey mobility poor)
