The Glass House Tea Room

My friend and I were unable to find a lunch spot in the town center, but we stumbled upon The Glass House by chance and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy seating and privacy on the left side of the door. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was freshly made, reasonably priced, and tasted amazing! We were shocked that a bottle of fizzy water only cost £1. Our order of 2 luxury paninis, 3 generous slices of coffee walnut cake, 1 slice of chocolate cake, a pot of tea, hot chocolate, and a 500ml bottle of fizzy water came to a total of £18. It was an excellent place to eat and we will definitely be returning. P.S. We didn't finish all the cake, so we too...

A home from home. I absolutely love this little tea room. I often come in with my baby or just on my own and nothing is too much trouble for John and Tracey. Always a warm welcome, a chat and some delicious food especially the New York bagel and John’s homemade cakes! I often grab a tea and cake and get John to do me a takeaway lunch! Thanks guys for always making me feel so welcome.

We had lunch at this tea room with my family and loved the food. The people running the place are very kind and the food exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the home made crisps and coleslaw. We will visit again!

Had a lovely lunch here today. Jacket Potatoes hit the spot on a cold blustery day. And the scones were warm and had clotted cream. What's not to like?
