The Glasshouse Bistro Montville

Stopped in for afternoon tea after a long drive and got some cold drinks and a serving of scones with jam, cream and butter. The cottage itself and the outside gardens are beautiful, unfortunately a really hot day and the aircon was struggling a bit! The drinks and scones were delicious, service seemed a little disorganised however in that heat I can forgive it!!

Very good coffee and delicious scones were great for morning tea. However they were a little costly. Less of the butter which was melted and a little more jam and cream would have been better on the scones plate. It was attractively presented and fresh.

Had a nice lunch. Service was great and food was excellent. Nice breeze blowing through the trees kept it all cool. Food was good value for money

The waiting staff were excellent even came out with a Schmacko for the dogs and a bowl of water. Food was excellent and coffee A+

Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful lunch, very friendly staff and even joined by a local resident lizard
