The Golden Ball Inn

We booked this last minute and we were pleasantly surprised. The pictures on the website don’t do the place justice and the room was much more modern than we were expecting. Whilst we had two single beds, we had the benefit of an added living space which was really handy, it feels more like self accommodation than a pub with rooms, it had its own entrance which was separate from the pub. The staff and owners were great throughout our stay and Shakira is a credit to the pub, she knows her job like the back of her had and was working her butt off the night we stayed there. Charming traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. I often visit solo or with friends, and what I really appreciate is that it's a dog-friendly establishment, so I can bring my dog along, who always receives treats. Since the new ownership, they have been consistently organizing new events, often in collaboration with other local businesses. My favorite is the Sunday lunch—the roast pork is absolutely delicious. This is a fantastic pub off the beaten path. While it's a bit of a trek from Ironbridge, it's definitely worth the visit. They offer a great selection of ales and prosecco for the ladies. The outdoor seating in both the front and back is lovely. Plus, there's a nice variety on the menu to choose from.

beautiful beer garden and good selection of beer. here impromptu with some friends on a warm Friday night. we had a great time to catch up. we spent our time in beer garden / hof area opposite ironbridge, which had early evening what was great. Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant has a great selection of beers, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lovely setting. Although we didn't taste the food, it looked delicious and well-prepared. There's also plenty of parking available behind the pub.

Expensive and small menu however the food was absolutely delicious an staff were brilliant but no good for kids under 10 no menu 4 them would recommend for a couple or group friends but not young family with kids

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast. I went for the smoked pork collar, and my fiancee had the lamb... Friendly staff, and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Also dog friendly which is a massive plus. An easy 5 stars

Another fantastic pub in Ironbridge! There are so many that it would take weeks to try them all. I had dinner here, and it was delightful. They also host a quiz night on Tuesdays. Réservez une table maintenant

Had dinner, very good ribeye stakes, chips and gorgeous sauces. Very friendly and gluten free options was a plus!
