Booked here for Early Bird Menu. Had Rump steak which you cook yourself on very hot stone. Oh my gosh the Steak was DELICIOUS . Accompanied with chips. onion rings. Mushrooms and tomatoes. Followed by Lemon drizzle cake and ice-cream. Never tasted anything like it absolutely gorgouse. It was the best meal I have had. Cook very obliging and explained different steak cuts. We stopped by this pub for a quick meal during a bike ride. The exterior might not be the most appealing, but don't let that deter you. The pub landlord was great and gave off a true village pub vibe. We tried the homemade quiche and fries, with the quiche having a delicious short pastry crust. We will definitely be returning, especially for their pie night on Thursdays. The price ranges from £10 to £20 per person, with top ratings for food, service, and atmosphere.
I made a reservation for a party of six on Thursday, which happened to be Pie Night at the restaurant. We were presented with a wide variety of homemade pies to choose from, and they were all very tasty! One member of our group opted for the rump steak and said it was delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our evening perfect. We are excited to come back for another visit in the future.
Fantastic food with exceptionally friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The average price per person ranges from £20 to £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I particularly recommend trying the 12oz Fillet Steak cooked on a hot stone. There is plenty of parking available, all of which is free.

Our family of 13 went to this restaurant to celebrate our parents' anniversary. We had never been before, but we were so happy that we came. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was quick, and the meals were delightful. Thank you to Darren and the staff for making it a great night out.
Not been here for ages but so glad I went tonight. Absolutely delicious steak meal cooked by you on a volcanic stone. Beats the pants of Miller and Carter any time. Great value for money and friendly service too. We'll be back, soon ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
