The Golden Fleece

Menu looked promising. A mixture of traditional pub food and more exotic dishes. The Korean egg starter was tasty and flavoursome. Unfortunately the toasted cheese stack was very stodgy and bland and the scone like base didn't really work for me. The flatbread was huge and filling but would have preferred it wiih a tomato sauce base instead of the sweet onion chutney. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The decor is traditional and clean and lovely views. There is a car park. The music was a bit annoying at times, a mixed play list but some of the songs weren't very relaxing, especially as the clientele were mostly elderly. A nice bar area and dog friendly.

Been past this so many times, but never been in. Phoned up last minute and they could squeeze us in. Plenty parking, excellent service and food was brilliant. Would definitely stop by again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
